Rates reflect industry standards proposed by the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and are as follows:

50-Minute Individual Counselling Session: $135.00 (+ GST)
75-Minute Individual Counselling Session: $202.50 (+ GST)

50-Minute Couples Counselling Session: $150.00 (+ GST)
75-Minute Couples Counselling Session: $225.50 (+ GST)

Payment Options:

Payments can be made in the form of cash, cheque, or Interac e-transfer. E-transfers are preferred according to current safety recommendations. E-transfers must be completed prior to the start of your session. Other forms of payment are to be settled at the beginning of each session.

Reduced Rates:

Reduced rates are available on a case-by-case basis to post-secondary students. This is based on counsellor's discretion and availability to offer reduced-rate services at that time. Please inquire during initial consultation regarding student rates.

Cancellation Policy:

A minimum of 24-Hours notice is required for cancelling or changing appointments. Cancellations with less than 24-hours notice or missed appointments are charged at the full- session rate.

Extended Health Coverage:

Counselling sessions are not eligible for coverage through BC Medical Services Plan; however, individuals with extended health coverage may receive compensation for a certain amount or number of sessions. Sessions through extended health are paid up front and reimbursed to the client by the health plan provider. Call your personal health provider to find out about coverage options.

Crime Victims Assistance Program (CVAP)

Chelsea is a registered counsellor with CVAP. Individuals involved with the Crime Victim Assistance Program who have received approval for counselling sessions can use their coverage to assist with the cost of counselling services.

If you or an immediate family member have been the victim of violent crime you may be eligible for funding to assist with the cost of your sessions. If you aren’t sure whether you may qualify for support contact VictimLinkBC at 1-800-563-0808.
